SPACE To Air Torchwood: Miracle Day in Canada

<![CDATA[

While nothing formal has yet been announced by SPACE itself, media site C21Media is reporting the Canadian home of Doctor Who has bought Torchwood: Miracle Day and will be airing it this summer, roughly around the time Starz and the BBC broadcast the 10-part miniseries.

Starz has announced a start date of July 8 and as yet the BBC has not followed suit with its broadcast launch. We look forward to the official word from SPACE, including information about when the series kicks off, though we’re of course hopeful the Canadian cable TV channel can bring viewers day & date broadcasts with the US and/or UK. In the mean time, though, we’re glad to see Miracle Day is coming to Canada!

Edit: BBC Worldwide issued a press release with some further details.

Radio Free Skaro #249 – Cary On Tristram

Radio Free Skaro #249 – Click here to listen

For the first time in what seems like a very long while, the Three Who Rule tackle a Miniscope segment all on their own without the aid of a special (and probably much better informed) guest. The subject? Musician Tristram Cary, whose moody melodies and bouncy ballads helped underscore many a 1960s Doctor Who serial. Even the most taciturn of individuals could find something to say about Cary’s iconic work. And if that wasn’t enough to fill an episode, there’s a bundle of press launch news from both sides of the Atlantic to help form another jam packed, spoiler-free episode of Radio Free Skaro.

Series 6 Titles – Episodes 1-7

<![CDATA[Extreme spoilerphobes should of course beware, but here are the titles for the first seven episodes of Doctor Who, Series 6. The last of the gaps were filled in by Doctor Who Magazine in issue 433.

 1. The Impossible Astronaut
 2. Day of the Moon
 3. The Curse of the Black Spot
 4. The Doctor’s Wife
 5. Rebel Flesh
 6. The Almost People
 7. A Good Man Goes to War

Factored in with the previous announcement of episode 11’s “The God Complex”, we’ve now got a majority of the Series 6 titles. Now to deal with the wait until the episodes actually go out…

Our opinion has always been that if the information has been released by an official source then it’s not a spoiler, though we realize not everyone shares that opinion.]]>
