Continuing in the new tradition of stealing the BBC’s thunder, a BBC America press release today revealed the title of Gareth Roberts’ episode 12 as Closing Time.
The BBC had thus far kept the titles for Episodes 12 and 13 under wraps, but with this announcement, all titles are now known for the latter half of Series 6 with the exception of Steven Moffat’s Episode 13 finale. Of course nobody outside of the production office knows when that last title will be revealed, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the BBC kept it hidden for a while yet, despite the imminent return of the series.
The episodes titles for the latter half of Series 6 are:
8. Let’s Kill Hitler, by Steven Moffat
9. Night Terrors, by Mark Gatiss
10. The Girl Who Waited, by Tom MacRae
11. The God Complex, by Toby Whithouse
12. Closing Time, by Gareth Roberts
13. Unknown, by Steven Moffat
The BBC has released not one but two clips from the upcoming episode Let’s Kill Hitler, and wow do they look good. Stop reading this and just watch them already!

Since somehow we forgot to post this yesterday when it came out, here’s the prequel to Episode 8, Let’s Kill Hitler. Doctor Who returns August 27!

In an announcement that surprised nobody, thanks to BBC America spilling the beans weeks ago, the BBC has announced Doctor Who will return to BBC One on 27 August, the same date as SPACE is airing it in Canada and BBC America the US. No specific time has yet been announced, however.
The BBC has issued a press release with this info but more interestingly they’ve also given synopses for all but the final episode of this latter half of Series 6. Extreme spoilerphobes should, as always, steer clear, but those who want to be tantalized should definitely have a look at the BBC press release.
Only 11 more days until new Who!
Update: The BBC Press Office has stated a 7:10 PM start time.]]>

Can summer be winding down already? It seems so, and along with Torchwood: Miracle Day hitting the halfway mark in its run with another bang up episode (according to the Three Who Rule, who seem to be one of the few Who podcasts out there who are actually enjoying the series), the Summer Classic Commentary Series begins to wind down, as well. This week, Radio Free Skaro’s take on Episodes 1-4 of the 1968-69 epic The Invasion, which may or may not feature the Cybermen. Oh, and the return of new Doctor Who is now less than three weeks away… |
