With the 2011 edition of Gallifrey One over half over, the Three Who Rule were still hard at work bringing you interviews with tremendously interesting people at the convention. Torchwood: Miracle Day is keenly discussed with writers Jane Espenson and Doris Egan, and the music of Doctor Who, specifically Murray Gold, was discussed with music scholars Emily Kausalik and Michaela Schubert. Also joining us for the fun are our good friends Eric from Mostly Harmless Cutaway and Sean from Tardis Tavern. Enjoy, everyone! Only one more day to go…

Behold Radio Free Skaro’s first ever live show at Gallifrey: Radio Free Skaro in 3-D! Along with special guests Gareth Roberts, Clayton Hickman, Joss Agnew, James Moran, and (Friend of the Show) Phil Ford, the Three Who Rule fought off stage fright to delight and entertain a room full of their new best friends, and hopefully a good few of you who weren’t able to make it to Gallifrey. Thanks to all for a fab time!

Gallifrey One is in full swing and the first of the daily Radio Free Skaro was screaming out to be released. Of course, being the first episode for Gally it can mean only one thing – PODCEST! The topic of the day was the convention, naturally, and a Warrenless crew comprised of Chip from Two-minute Time Lord, Eric from Mostly Harmless Cutaway, Tim from Tim’s Take On, Erik from Bridging The Rift, Paul from Pharos Project and Katrina from Bridging The Rift joined Steven and Chris for a round table tête-a-tête-a-tête-a-tête-a-tête-a-tête-a-tête-a-tête and later on we sat down with Ken from Podshock for more Gally talk. Let the madness begin! |

Warren here. I’ve worked in television for years, I write professionally, and I make videos for a living…but despite all that I’ve never made a Doctor Who fan film. Well, after attending the fan filmmaking panels at Gallifrey twice and dispensing advice to other cine-nerds, I figured it was time to put my money where my mouth is. I present to you Blue Meanie, the story of one man’s torture by Type 40. I hope you enjoy it, and if you’re going to Gallifrey, stop by the fan video room at 1:40, watch the movie again and say hello!

The Three Who Rule have set aside the Richard Martin miniscope for now so the focus of this week’s episode can be the upcoming Gallifrey One convention in Los Angeles. Gally mania ramps up to fever level as the lads talk panels, podcasts and poltroonery. News of the week rounds things out, even delving into the mostly foreign world of Big Finish! Regularly scheduled programming gets accelerated in a few days time as daily podcasts from Gallifrey One begin, so remember to check your feed more often! |

As the countdown to Gallifrey One continues (less than two weeks away!), the Three Who Rule tumble in to the collected works of director Colin Teague in this week’s instalment of the Miniscope. Despite Teague’s opprobrious epithet, the Three were pleasantly surprised at his directorial skill which constantly shone over some of the written inspiration he had to work with. Also dealt with was the news of the week, featuring all three hosts blanking on the duties of a recently added Gallifrey One guest (it’s prosthetics – duh). |

| June 14 sees the next two North American releases of Classic Doctor Who stories, and this time around we get the Peter Davison story Frontios along with Sylvester McCoy’s first outing in Time and the Rani.
Frontios tells the story of a human colony in the far future, and as yet no release date is known for other parts of the world. Time and the Rani introduces the world to Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor as he takes on the dastardly Rani in a DVD released last year in the UK. SRP will be $24.98 each, and in the mean time check out more details at TVShowsOnDVD.com or click on the cover art for larger versions. |

It’s getting to be that time of year again when hundreds of Doctor Who fans and celebrities converge upon sunny California at Gallifrey One, the largest Doctor Who fan convention in North America. This year’s edition, Gallifrey One’s Catch 22: Islands of Mystery, takes place from February 18-20, 2011, at the LAX Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, and Radio Free Skaro will be there!
As in past years, The Three Who Rule will provide extensive coverage of the convention by publishing daily podcasts from Thursday, February 17 through until Monday, February 21. These podcasts will feature interviews with many of the guests at the convention, as well as the main RFS event of the weekend: Radio Free Skaro in 3-D, live on stage, on Friday, February 18 at 2pm, featuring guests Gareth Roberts, Clayton Hickman, Joss Agnew, James Moran, and Phil Ford. We might even have a surprise or two in the works…
The best way to keep up to date with our coverage is to subscribe to our iTunes feed here. Keep an eye on these feeds, though, too:
