Radio Free Skaro #587 – Death By Scotland

Download MP3

Gloom, doom, and light-eating tentacle dogs are the topic du jour for the Three Who Rule, as they viewed the Rona Munro penned, Charles Palmer helmed “The Eaters of Light” and formed cogent, well reasoned analyses of the third to last episode of Series 10, and didn’t at all speculate wildly about Mondasian Cybermen, bearded former Masters, Missy’s weird turn towards mercy and more. And speaking of Masters, Big Finish just announced that Derek Jacobi will return to his “Utopia” role as the Doctor’s best enemy with a new series of “War Master” audios, which recent BF convert Warren is feverishly anticipating! Plus Moffatt and Chibnall interviews, side glances at Funk Pops, and…yes, stats. Now go eat a fried Mars Bar and stand around on a dark Scottish moor contemplating the futility of existence! Go on!

  1. I hadn’t seen that documentary about the Radiophonic Workshop before. That was lovely! Thanks, guys! (Kinda have to agree about the weirdy beardy in the backgrounds…)

While driving and listening, I had to shout out: “Did he just quote Meglos?” Well, yes, you did. Good on ya!

  2. I don’t think the Doctor was being patronising when he called them children, they *were* children! Kar was only sixteen, her brother was even younger, and the eldest centurion was barely 18.
