Rachel Talalay Joins Radio Free Skaro For Two-Part Director’s Commentary

Rachel Talalay, the award-winning director and who has helmed the finales of both Series 8 and Series 9 of Doctor Who, will be joining the Three Who Rule for director’s commentaries on her two Series 9 episodes, “Heaven Sent” and “Hell Bent”.

“Heaven Sent” has received considerable acclaim since its original broadcast, and in addition to being nominated for a 2016 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form), it is also eligible for Emmy Award nomination in the US. Rachel joins Steven and Warren for this commentary on Radio Free Skaro #533, which will be released on Sunday, June 12 at 2pm ET.

“Hell Bent” concludes the two-part finale, and features not only the return of Gallifrey, but the final regular appearance of Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. Rachel joins Steven and Chris for this commentary on Radio Free Skaro #534, the release of which will occur on Sunday, June 19 at 2pm ET.

Note that no commentaries for these two episodes are available on the official Doctor Who Series 9 box set, so Radio Free Skaro will be the only place to hear Rachel Talalay give a commentary for these amazing episodes.
