Fandom held its collective breath to witness the return of The Doctor’s granddaughter Susan, in the form of Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, and instead of that half-baked and silly theory they got a cracking good story about Vikings, immortality and clarity regarding the thorny Visage De Capaldi issue that has plagued us since Deep Breath. Gripping stuff! And a good thing too as the news is very sparse this week, consisting of important action dolly matters and the DVD release of a (more or less) fan film from 20 years ago. Tune in, won’t you?
