It was a wild week to be a fan of Doctor Who and other sic-fi franchises this past week! Gallifrey One memberships went on sale and crashed ticket sales sites, Osgood and the Zygons are returning in Series 9, Torchwood audio plays are coming to Big Finish, and Avengers: Age of Ultron is filling movie theatres all over the world. What better week, then, to talk to Sam Maggs, author of the new book “The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy”, an instruction manual for fangirls new to the fold, as well as an educational tome for those who aren’t!
Guys – listen – Don’t ever put down your geeky nerd superpowers again!! I’m an over-worked, middle-aged, single-mom fangirl with not enough hours in the day to read everything I want to read. I *count* on y’all over-analyzing !! I use it to impress my friends {sigh}
And thanks once again for the heads-up about TimeGateCon. Can’t wait to see Michelle Gomez and Katy Manning. Haven’t been to a con in years, will be cosplay-ing, hope I can pull it off.

My opinion on the whole Osgood kerfuffle is that it was Zygon-Osgood that got zapped by Missy and it is Human-Osgood that is coming back in Series 9.
