It’s only September, yet even more great guests have been announced for the upcoming Gallifrey One convention in February! |
A member of the legendary Redgrave family of acting, Jemma Redgrave has played Kate Stewart, the new head of UNIT, in “The Power of Three” and “The Day of the Doctor”, and will appear in the upcoming series finale of Series 8 this autumn. This will be Jemma’s first appearance at Gallifrey One. |
Jamie Mathieson has made a career out of writing for science fiction TV series in the UK, penning episodes of Being Human and Dirk Gently, as well as writing the 2009 film “Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel”. Jamie has also written episodes 8 and 9 of this current series of Doctor Who. |
Peter Harness is new to writing Doctor Who with his Series 8 episode “Kill The Moon”, but he is by no means new to the show itself. A long time Doctor Who fan, Peter has also written for such notable TV programmes as Wallander. This will be Peter’s first Gallifrey One. |
Nick Robatto was props maker on Doctor Who on over 40 episodes from 2006-2011, and will bring his knowledge and experience of making the many props that the show requires to Gallifrey One. He joins previously announced crafts guests Mike Tucker and Danny Hargreaves. |
Nicholas Briggs has been a Gallifrey One veteran but is making his first appearance at the convention since 2013. The voice of the Daleks and the Cybermen, as well as the executive producer of Big Finish audioplays, Nick has always been a fan favourite at any convention he’s attended. |
David Gooderson had the unenviable task of filling Michael Wisher’s shoes (and Wisher’s face mask – literally!) in playing the role of Davros in 1979’s “Destiny of the Daleks”. However, we all (well, some of us) think that that story is an underrated gem, and Gooderson’s portrayal is key to that opinion. This will be David’s first appearance at Gallifrey One. |

Also announced were actor W. Morgan Sheppard, Keith Barnfather of Reeltime Productions (makers of several unofficial Doctor Who videos from the 1990s), Chase Masterson, and Arnold T. Blumberg. Check out the full list of guests on the Gallifrey One website. Stay tuned to Gallifrey One and Radio Free Skaro for future guest announcements! |
