Sorry to be, ahem, pedantic, Steven but Jean Shrimpton is English so Ms. Gillan will have no problem with the accent. 😉
Thanks, Grant. I obviously got this project confused with another one that Matt and Karen (ah, hell – Mazza and Kazza) were talking about during the BBC America press tour.
Heya guys, loving the show. I’d like to suggest another web 2.0 social something-or-other doodad that you could put on your podcasts or your website.
Have you ever considered putting up Flattr buttons? Because I for one would like to hurl chunks of foreign currency your way from time to time, given a simple method for doing it.
I’m not aware of any Doctor Who-related podcasts that use Flattr, but I know a few popular tech podcasts that promote it and take delight in receiving tips this way.
What do you think?
@DaveO – Flattr isn’t anything I’d heard of, but thanks for the suggestion. It’s unlikely we’ll implement it though, as we don’t solicit donations or even have a vehicle in place to accept them when offered. That’s not what we’re about. Understandably it’s simpler (and more cost-effective) for folks to offer thanks in manners such as that versus splashing out on whatever piece of related merchandise, but it’s just not a road we’ve really taken to at this stage.
So how are we designating the next series? Polork? Palorg? Polorck? Was there an official RFS designation for the current series? I must know.
There’s the Flattr button, sweet!
