Fanwank reaches epic proportions for rumored Who finale

The Daily Star, a rag of dubious merit, is reporting that Season 4 of Doctor Who will feature the fanwankiest finale ever. Check out the story for unlikely spoilers, but suffice it to say the proposed end of season 4 will feature pretty much every companion ever to grace the new series. Absurd, yet compelling, much like a car accident.

The report that it will feature K-9 has me doubting the report; I don’t see the BBC being anxious to use K-9 and even inadvertently promote someone else’s product — in this case, the Jetix series.

The only thing that could make the report better, though? If they’d said that the Brig was going to be in it. Because everything is better with the Brig.

Hell yeah!

They have to bring back the Brig, soon. Nicholas Courtney isn’t getting any younger.

Seven once said that the Brig was supposed to die in bed. (Minds out of gutter. He’s not Jack!) It would be bittersweet to have a swan song for the Brig that ended like that.

Mind you, he could also show up on the Sarah Jane Adventures. Sarah has a picture of him in her attic…Foreshadowing, possibly? Too bad Harry can’t come and visit her. 😦
