Because Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill bring the Thasmin energy to a new Red Nose Day cameo, The Lonely Assassins is thrilling mobile game players the world over, and the Doctor Who: The Collection series of blu-rays are returning to store shelves. Radio Free Skaro Presents “Tales of Gallifrey One”
As we are all aware, Gallifrey One is not happening in 2021 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we here at Radio Free Skaro will be spending this upcoming weekend (where we all should have been at the LAX Marriott) instead looking back at some of our favourite interviews and live show moments under the banner Tales of Gallifrey One.
Starting Thursday, we’ll present a selection of our favourite interviews recorded at Gallifrey One over the years, including such guests as Graeme Harper, Tracie Simpson, Dick Mills, William Russell, Waris Hussein, Philip Segal, Freema Agyeman, Garrick Hagon, Howard Burden, Jamie Childs and Wayne Yip.
Since 2012, we’ve been honoured to kick off Gallifrey One on the main stage on the Friday of the convention, so this Friday, we’ll be presenting a “greatest hits” selection from our various live shows, featuring guests Peter Davison, Philip Hinchcliffe, Terrance Dicks, Pete McTighe, Vinay Patel, Joy Wilkinson, Julian Glover, Patricia Quinn, and Chip Sudderth’s Two-Minute Time Lord segment celebrating the tenth anniversary of the return of Doctor Who.
And on Sunday, the driving force of Gallifrey One, Shaun Lyon, will be joining us for our regular episode of the podcast to reminisce about Gallifrey Ones gone by, and to look forward to the future and hopefully all returning to safely gather again in 2022.
So join us for some laughs, listen to the sounds of crowded lobbies and convention floors in the background of our past interviews, and let’s all remember great times while we work towards making new memories in the months to come.

We took a break from the news last week to revel in Gallifrey One events of the past and to look forward to better times in the future, so this week we catch up with all the news we missed, including several Big Finish announcements, new books, and Jodie Whittaker reading a bedtime story online to the children of Watford (but ONLY the children of Watford).
