The moment has arrived for the Doctor, Millie and their big fluffy dog Sutekh as the universe gets dusted, mysteries are solved to varying degrees of success, and the Three Who Rule reach unforetold levels of Grumpy Old Man-ism as they discuss “Empire of Death”, the finale to Doctor Who, Season 1! What did they think of the first finale of the RTD2 era? Were their memories jogged by a certain cramped TARDIS? Who’s pointing at what, and why? Abase yourselves, insects, and find out!

It’s the penultimate episode of Doctor Who Season 1 and the mysteries are piling up in UNIT HQ! Who or what is Susan Twist? What about the cloaked lady who may or may not be Ruby’s mum? Why in the name of all the gods in the pantheon is Sutekh causing trouble and blinged out in Disney finery? The Three Who Rule don’t have the answers but they do have baseless speculation and a bunch of irrelevant Classic Who references to tide us over until next week! Plus some book and comic and Big Finish stuff but let’s be real…..SUTEKH’S BACK!

It’s Regency drama, gossip, and scandalous dances on this week’s Doctor Who adventure, “Rogue!” The Bridgerton fans are losing their minds at this episode, including one Ruby Sunday, but what did the Three Who Rule think of this theatrical and romantic undertaking? Plus we pay tribute to William Russell, Doctor Who’s original Man of Action and Knight of Jaffa, and we encourage you to listen to our own interview with Mr. Russell from 2012. Plus Big Finish celebrates 25 years, Tales of the TARDIS mystery, and this very podcast gets called out for both its numerous crimes and its place as one of the best Doctor Who podcasts! Will wonders never cease?

Doctor Who shows its range again with “Dot and Bubble,” an adventure that goes from the superficiality of social media all the way to some very real-world issues in what’s ostensibly a Doctor-lite episode but is in fact very heavy. Does it seem like we’re dancing around the content of the story? Well, we are! Tune in and listen to our takes, then find out about a new visual guide chronicling the adventures of Character Options dollies, a sneak peek at the first 15th Doctor comic, the further exploits of the Terry Nation Army, more Big Finish excitement including Christopher Eccelston’s final audio adventure (for now), and more! Don’t slide us!

A very divisive episode of one Radio Free Skaro as the Three Who Rules review “73 Yards,” a parable of Welsh magic, loopy time conundrums and craven Prime Ministers (well, one at least). What did they think of this Millie Gibson acting tour-de-force and what in the dickens is the mysterious lady saying? Listen and find out! Plus DWM 604, virtual production, a rabbit hole discussion of 4K Blu-Rays and much, much more! Also, why not metric?

Steven Moffat returns to the world of Doctor Who with Boom, a tension-filled episode with land mines, Anglican Marines, many a trope from his previous era, and more! The Three Who Rule are well-known Moffat-ites to be sure, but did this measure up to their thoughts and prayers? Plus the media blitz continues with Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Time Magazine (of all things) and a halfhearted stab at the increasingly irrelevant…stats! Ahhh-aahhhhh!

Doctor Who returns! Two new episodes dropped this weekend as we enter both the wacky madcap hijinks of “Space Babies” and the outright lunacy of “The Devil’s Chord”! What did the Three Who Rule think of CG baby mouths, Jinkx Monsoon vamping all over the place, Beatles instrument accuracy and more? Listen to our multi-hour discourse but know this: the twist at the end is that song isn’t very good. Plus the media onslaught continues with Ncuti Gatwa on Canadian radio, RTD dropping secret controversies in Men’s Journal, Big Finish fun and golden sonic screwdriver tat, and more! Next week, we see how it all goes…Boom!

It’s less than one week until Doctor Who enters a new era on Disney+ and BBC iPlayer, and the Disney+ money machine has been busy bussing Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson all around New York City to promote the show, look generally gorgeous wearing many different looks, and riding a Doctor Who-themed NYC subway car! There’s also chatter about Doctor Who: Unleashed, the TARDIS at Disneyland, theatre productions, and more, with our friend Sarah Murphy sitting in as guest host!

The Doctor Who publicity machine is slipping into second gear with Gatwa and Gibson making the rounds of a BBC premiere, chat shows, Variety Magazine, and more, but that doesn’t stop the Three Who Rule from marinating in questionable nostalgia as they recall viewing The Phantom Menace for the first time 25 years ago, aka the Dawn of Anticipointment. Plus we issue an all hands on deck alert for next week’s Gallifrey One Hotelmageddon, and Warren emerges from the Metaverse to give his take on the just released PS VR2 version of The Edge of Time! Don your own Helmet of Pretend and join us!

The hype train has left the station for Doctor Who as Entertainment Weekly, SFX, Attitude, and other pulp-based data products celebrate the impending Full-On Ncuti Gatwa Era along with the BBC and Disney+ releasing promo illustrations, and most importantly of all the release of Movellan action dollies, which caused spontaneous disco-infused celebrations across the United Kingdom. There’s also the quite suspicious timing of a restored Let It Be hitting Disney+ two days before the two-part premiere of Doctor Who, and most exciting of all, Episode Four of our Classic Series Commentary for “Terror of the Autons”!
